We are seeking an experienced AHPRA-registered prescriber to join a growing telehealth clinic providing longevity/ well-being health consultations to adult patients.
The role involves conducting telehealth consultations, assessing patient suitability for treatment options, providing evidence-based medical advice, and prescribing.

This role is suited to a prescriber with an interest in personalised health, preventative health, metabolic health, men’s health, women’s health, hormone-related care, performance health, integrative medicine or other specialised telehealth prescribing models.
The clinic provides private telehealth consultations for adult patients and operates under a compliance-focused clinical governance framework. Treatment pathways may involve prescription medicines or additional therapeutic goods where permitted under Australian law, the prescriber’s professional scope of practice and applicable Commonwealth, state and territory requirements.
Further details about the clinic model, treatment options, prescribing workflows and pharmacy arrangements will be discussed confidentially with shortlisted applicants who meet the required registration and suitability criteria.

The successful prescriber will be responsible for:
● Conducting telehealth consultations with adult patients in accordance with applicable Australian professional standards, prescribing requirements, privacy obligations and clinic policies.
● Completing patient assessments, including relevant medical history, current medications, risk factors, contraindications and other information required to support safe care.
● Prescribing within their professional registration, authorised scope of practice and applicable Commonwealth, state and territory medicines legislation.
● Providing patients with clear information about treatment options, risks, limitations, alternatives, follow-up requirements and when in-person care may be required.
● Maintaining accurate, complete and timely clinical records in the clinic’s electronic medical record system.
● Obtaining and documenting informed consent in line with clinic procedures and relevant professional obligations.
● Following clinic processes for telehealth suitability, patient identity verification, escalation, referral and continuity of care.
● Coordinating with pharmacies, pathology providers, general practitioners, specialists or other health professionals where required.
● Participating in clinical governance activities, including policy compliance, case review, incident reporting, audit support and quality improvement.
● Maintaining current AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance, continuing professional development and all other professional requirements relevant to the role.
● Keeping up to date with applicable AHPRA, TGA, Medical Board of Australia, Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, privacy and medicines-related obligations relevant to telehealth prescribing.

Applicants must have
● Current registration with AHPRA as one of the following:
o Medical Practitioner; or
o Nurse Practitioner.
● Current professional indemnity insurance.
● Ability to practise via telehealth
● Understanding of Australian prescribing and clinical documentation obligations
● No current registration conditions, undertakings or restrictions that would prevent safe prescribing in this role.
● Peptides prescribing course

● Experience in private telehealth settings.
● Demonstrated experience in telehealth or clinical practice involving prescription-based care, with experience in metabolic health, men’s health, women’s health, hormone-related care or personalised health services.
● Familiarity with electronic medical records, e-prescribing and secure telehealth platforms.
● Understanding of AHPRA advertising obligations and TGA restrictions relating to prescription-only and unapproved therapeutic goods.
● Experience working in a regulated healthcare environment with clear clinical policies, patient safety and documentation requirements.
